My name is Melainia Barboza, and I am currently a freshman at The University of Toledo, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communication with aspirations of becoming a distinguished sports broadcaster. On top of maintaining a stellar academic record, I have experience in journalism, social media management, and broadcasting dating back to my sophomore year of high school.

Beyond my academic and career pursuits, I actively engage in volunteer work, and even founded my own charitable initiative, “Streets to Cleats,”.
